FLOWER LAYERS

I created this group of images in Photoshop using its robust layer functions. For a traditional artist, this process is similar to overlapping several sheets of tracing paper to introduce additional elements into a composition. Each image took a day or two to complete. Many schemes failed or the results were uninspiring. The original images, and all of their backgrounds, were specifically photographed for this project.
