LANDSCAPES - PORTFOLIO TWO
"The ultimate demise of human greed is our only hope
to preserve the unspoiled beauty of inaccessible locations"
(Lopez-Espina, 2012)
During my decades photographing nature, much has changed. Many places had very consistent weather patterns, and there were several hidden spots few dared to venture into. Nowadays, rain falls during the dry seasons and tourist buses leave behind their deep tire tracks on once unspoiled habitats. Not sure how anyone who cares could regard these unnatural or man-made alterations as progress. Man's obsession with monetary prosperity, even when they undermine the welfare of others, has left our planet extremely vulnerable. Some photographs on this website are no longer possible. Enjoy them as a relic from the past and examples of what we could have left to future generations.
